Wasting another weekend slouched in front of the idiot box I had a queer thought- what is the moral of the story at the end of all these TV shows. Here are a few I could sum up over the night.
Friends: An out-of-work actor, a corporate executive, a professor, a chef, a data analyst and a part time messeus have a lot in common.
Lost: Explaining bizzare events is for squares. Apparently it is to better to pound audience with ten more bizzare events to ensure he forgets all about the first one and so forth.
Full House: Its cool to live in another man's house when you are well over thirty.
Prison break: Even if President, secret service, FBI and entire corporate america are involved in a conspiracy they still cannot spare more than one agent at a time to take care of only lose end of the conspiracy.
Apprentice: Human beings cannot get along with each other period.
Dexter: Serial killers are normal people with a job, a girlfriend, even a boat! Just like you and me.
One tree hill: Solution to all problems including your uncle's murder, death of a relative, heart attack, expulsion from school, breakup etc. is either to have a party.
CSI NY: Even the most well educated and hardened criminals will confess readily confess if confronted in last ten minutes of the show and that NYPD is the coolest.
CSI Miami: Same as above with emphasis and that Miami PD is the coolest.
NCIS: Same as above and since American Navy is no longer essential to their defences, most naval officers occupy themselves by setting up elaborate plans to kill their coworkers and that NCIS is the coolest.
Standoff: FBI is the coolest.
Traveller: Law enforcement agencies are not that smart.
